You can now get the internationally approved Echomax EM230BR at the most affordable price ever.
We recognise that safety is important and we needed to make the Echomax radar reflector more affordable. The Echomax EM230 is suitable for medium size craft and the EM230BR model is designed as a direct replacement for the Firdell Blipper allowing mounting on the same mast brackets. If you are not replacing a Blipper dont worry because you just need to purchase a set of stainless steel Echomax 230 mast brackets and rivet these to the mast for quick and easy mounting of the EM230BR.
Echomax out performs all other radar reflectors in its class the EM 230 model has been successfully tested by QinetiQ to ISO 8729, SHIPS WHEEL MARK, SOLAS RORC and ORC and meets sections A.1/1.33 and A.1/4.39 of annex A1 of Marine Directive 98/95/EC.
Echomax EM230 has now been allocated a NATO Stock No.5840-99-742-6193 following the adoption and use of the Echomax EM 230 by the UK Military Forces and others throughout the World.
The Echomax 230 can be mast, halyard or deck mounted and has a massive refelective area of 24m/sq.

Echomax can be mounted in any position around the mast, ie. fore or aft and should ideally be fitted as high as possible using monel rivets and duralac paste to avoid electrolytic action between metals.
