Two versions of the lifering are available. The standard 60cm orange life ring has a leightweight grab line and is ideal for recreational craft. The larger Department of Transport(D.O.T.)approved lifering is 75cm diameter, more buoyant and is supplied with a grab line and retro-reflective tape. The DOT lifering is used on commercial craft and by the inland waterways and environment agency.
