The Cayman 88 is a very popular horizontal windlass fitted to many production boats. Due to the motor and gearbox all encased in a waterproof above deck housing makes this model popular with our aftermarket customers, ie you and me who want soemthing we can easily install without carving up our foredeck.
The Cayman is securred with stainless steel studs and a cut out is required to allow the chain and warp to drop through into the locker below.
The reversing motor means the anchor can be released electrically or the clutch can be released for manual operation. The rope drum can be operated independently from the gypsy and the gypsy will take both rope and chain.
Available with either 700 watt or 1000 watt motor in 12 or 24 volt
Supplied complete with handle and control box.
Suitable for boats up to approx. 13m.
Made in special sea water-resistant light alloy, polished and anodised or with added protection of white polyester coating.
