Gas leakage can be extremely hazardous onboard any vessel and early detection is vital. As gas will sink to the lowest point is is recommended to position the sensor at the lowest point practicable to ensure any gas leakage is detected quickly and the alarm is sounded.

Pilot gas alarms will detect both propane and butane gas and the alarm panel features a test button and with the implementation of an optional relay it can activate blower fans if the alarm is activated.

The Pilot Mini Gas Alarm is the compact single channel gas alarm suitable for boats, caravans and motor homes.

It has one gas detection sensor on a 3.5 meter length of 3-core cable and has the capability to be linked to a Pilot Gas Valve Controller to shut off the gas supply, or a relay to bring on blower fans.

This is a must have for any boat owner to ensure harmful gas fumes are detected and the area vented immediatley.

The unit draws 90 milliamps at standby rising to 100 milliamps in the event of an alarm.
