Ultraflex T71FC Rotary Steering Helm

Product Description

The Ultraflex T71FC rotary steering helm system is compatible with the Ultraflex M66 steering cable and features a standard 3/4' taper to suit Ultraflex, Morse & Telefex steering wheels. 

With a planetry gearing system within the helm unit this system is particularly suited to higher horsepower outboard and inboard engines and in situations where heavy wear and tear is expected.

• Optional 90 deg or 20 deg is required to complete installation
• Standard 3/4' tapered shaft
• Lock-to-lock steering wheel turns: approx. 3-8 Stroke: 228 mm (9')
• Maximum allowable steering wheel diameter: 406 mm (16')
• Minimum steering cable bend radius: 200 mm (7.9')
• Minimal feedback Compact for mounting
• T71FC and T73FC steering systems are not to be used on boats equipped with engines that exceed the maximum horsepower rating of the boat.
• For boats faster than 50 mph the twin cable steering system T73FC is recommended.
• Exceeds EN 28848 safety standards. Exceeds ABYC P17 safety standards
