Gybing remains one the of the most challenging operations of a sailing boat even for experienced sailors and could generate injuries and material damage.
An effecient and safe solution is the Gyb'Easy Wichard Boom Brake.

Components:
One Boom Brake
One Shackle attached to the boom brake and one to the boom saddles.
A specific line withstanding high frictions during the gybe operations.

Concept:
With Gyb'Easy, the gybe operations are safer and potential acidents reduced.
Thanks to the frictions of the specific line passing over the boom brake, the boom is allowed to gybe smoothly.
Benefit - smooth operations without any jerks.

Installation:
The installation only takes a few minutes: a shackle is attached onto one of the boom saddles.
In order to fit with all deck configurations, 2 different fittings can be implemented.
The Boom Brake can be used either on old gaffers or modern boats.
