Application
Red Handflare:- For use day or night the Red Handflare is a short-range distress signal used to pinpoint position. This flare may be carried on the ship’s bridge and is a requirement in ship’s Lifeboats and Liferafts. The red handflare is also suitable for use on other commercial and recreational boats.
Orange Handsmoke:- For use in day distress signal situations and to mark the position during a rescue operation. Ideal to indicate wind direction to rescue helicopter in land or sea rescues.
Red Parachute Flare:- Designed to withstand exceptional environmental exposure and to perform reliably even after immersion in the water, pull wire ignitor and improved grip provides easy handling. Ejecting a red flare on a parachute at 300m, burning for 40 seconds at 30,000 candela.
