Raymarine Smart Wind Transducer
The Raymarine RSW wind transducer is a professional-level wind sensor designed for leisure sailors. The RSW transducer is engineered for simplicity and accuracy using an integrated 3D motion sensor and Raymarine Smart Wind™ technology to give every skipper a new level of sailing intelligence.
Precision, Engineered Design
The newly designed RSW wind sensor is a self-calibrating sensor that delivers ultra-precise wind speed and direction measurements. Sailors can take advantage of high accuracy, true wind, speed, and polar calculations to make more intelligent race and performance sailing decisions when it matters most.
Extensively tested, tuned and balanced in the wind tunnel - the Raymarine Smart Wind redefines the meaning of sailing intelligence.
Raymarine Smart Wind™ Features
Increased Accuracy
Experience expert-level accuracy without expensive black box processors or cumbersome calibration tables. Smart Wind technology also compatible with rotating masts.
Self Calibrating
Integrated 3D motion sensor (AHRS technology) accounts for vessel pitch and roll, automatically delivering improved true wind accuracy.
Sail Like a Pro
Smart Wind technology compensates for the effects of airflow and upwash against the sails, delivering stable and trusted true wind direction. The sensor also intelligently compensates for mast twist and bend.
Install & Go
Raymarine Smart Wind technology delivers expert level accuracy without the need for additional, expensive processors or extensive calibration and set-up.
Finely Tuned
Through rigorous wind tunnel testing, we've fine-tuned and balanced the instrument to ensure that data from the mast head is accurate and consistent.
Sail Smarter
Trusted, high-accuracy True Wind data combined with the Alpha Performance Displays and Axiom Chartplotters let you sail smarter.
