Possibly the best known and most popular tillerpilot, the Raymarine ST1000+ is a slick easy to use waterproof and robust tiller pilot for use as a stand alone pilot or connect to GPS for auto control.

Designed for coastal passages the ST1000 tiller pilot is a self-contained, removable autopilot systems for tiller-steered boats. Inside the durable housing is a powerful electric linear drive, precision fluxgate compass, and an easy-to-use control panel. A quick mounting and connect/disconnect system allows you to transition from hand-steering to autopilot control easily. Built-in SeaTalk networking allows the tiller pilot to communicate with the rest of your networked instruments, wind instrument, and chartplotter.    

6 large tactile buttons enable the user to switch in and out of auto mode and to make simple one button press course adjustments. The backlit LCD display will give navigational data such as a heading, distance to waypoint, bearing to waypoint and cross track error.

Features:

• Auto Seastate feature within the pilot teaches the pilot to ignore the repetitive movements of the boat and to respond to only true course changes thus providing a more comfortable passage.


• Wind trim mode - the tiller pilot maintains a course relative to an apparent wind angle ( input from Wind vane required).


• Auto tack - a simple two button press to turn the boat through 100 degrees.
