Introducing the cutting-edge XT-Series Alternator family, featuring an advanced braided stator wire design that maximises output within a minimal footprint. Outperforming Balmar's previous AT-Series 165A design, the XT-Series not only generates more power but also operates 5oC-10oC cooler.The XT Series Alternators feature Balmar's Smart Ready internal regulator technology, offering an added layer of fault tolerance for cruising boaters. The XT-Series now includes mounting options for the "Vortec" 9Si design found in many GM gasoline engines.
It's important to note that XT-Series Alternators may require a Tachometer Signal Stabilizer (Part No. 05-1013) if your current tachometer is not adjustable. Additionally, these alternators are designed for use exclusively in Dual Vee or Multi-Groove Serpentine belt configurations. Fear not, as Balmar's expanding range of AltMount?
