The Combi Consumer Unit is designed specifically for use with Combi Inverter/Chargers. AC output from the inverter/charger is then fed back to the consumer unit to a second RCD. Two breakers are provided to run on board AC appliances, ring main etc.

Incoming shorepower is protected by an RCD, a single breaker is provided that runs from shorepower only (ideal for running a battery charger, which should never be run from an inverter). An automatic changeover then selects between shore or inverter power (biased to shorepower). Power then runs through a second RCD and a breaker to run on board loads such as ring main etc.

The 24V Battery Protect Relay 500A is a smart high-current magnetic latching contactor, that can handle continuous DC currents of up to 500Amps. The contactor can easily be installed in an engine room or battery compartment while being controlled from a more convenient location by a small panel-mounted switch.
