It also allows users to switch the device into Receive Only mode. In Silent Mode Switching the AIS600 can be switched to silent mode via a remote single throw switch. (Not included) When an SRM switch is installed', closing the switch broadcasts a pan-pan urgency SRM. While the switch is closed,' the AIS600 will send the urgency message at a rate of one message per minute.
