Merlin M-Power Equalisers are currently in use across fire, bus and coach fleets, military vehicles and marine platforms. Equalisers should be sized to be around 10-20% greater than the normal continuous 12V current required.Merlin M-Power Equalisers offer a variety of benefits, including: - Extending 24V battery life by maintaining battery balance - More efficient and reliable than most (or multiple) DC/DC converters - Allows you to use high surge loads without a very large DC/DC converter (short-term power requirement that is greater than the Equaliser will simply be re-balanced once current consumption drops below the Equalisers maximum output).
