The DST820 0° is a multifunctional through-hull smart transducer. The device measures depth, vessel speed via a newly designed paddle wheel, and water temperature. Integrated sensors also record the trim and heel angle of the vessel.
The NMEA2000 (DeviceNet) smart transducer processes depth and speed data with a 5Hz update frequency. Internally, the transducer measures water temperature and the trim and heel position of the vessel. The 0° version has a built-in offset angle of 0 degrees and features Bluetooth for wireless communication to configure it (keel offset).
The DST820 is a through-hull transducer and is mounted through a hole in the hull where the through-hull fitting enters. Connection to the NMEA2000 network is direct via the integrated connector. The through-hull fitting is: P617V, the V stands for Valve and features a shut-off valve which is not watertight but ensures significantly less water ingress when the transducer is removed from the through-hull fitting.
