This unit is designed for use with an AIS receiving only unit. A single VHF antenna is used simultaneously for VHF, AM/FM and AIS receiving providing an ideal solution where there is a need to avoid multiple on board antenna and to simplify your marine electronics needs.
The splitter enables boaters to operate VHF radios, AIS receivers and AM/FM radio simultaneously with one antenna without interfering with VHF radio performance.
