Bamar is an Italian manufacturer of cutting-edge sail furling systems. With over 50 years of experience, Bamar is internationally recognised for its innovation, performance and reliability. The entire production cycle—from design and manufacturing to assembly and final bench testing—is carried out at Bamar’s headquarters in Forlì, Italy.
Bamar furling systems for mainsails and foresails are available in manual, electric, and hydraulic versions. They deliver high furling torque and speed, precise synchronisation, ease of installation, low maintenance requirements, and reduced overall size and weight. The range is suitable for sailing yachts from 5 to 80 metres in length.
Furling systems for non-hoisted sails are available in two configurations—RLG and CODE—each offered in manual, electric, and hydraulic options. This innovative solution enables frequent and safe use of spinnakers, allowing sails to be deployed and furled within minutes while significantly enhancing onboard safety.
