8ltr Accumulator Tank or Expansion Vessel

The accumulator tank or expansion tank functions on the principle that air will compress under pressure whilst fluids will not.

An accumulator half fills with water as the pump operates meaning that depending on the size of the tank you can run off small amounts of water without the pump cutting in, thus prolonging the life of the pump.

The air also acts as a cushion, absorbing pressure fluctuations and vibrations giving a smooth supply of water.

• Connections:  ¾' BSP external threaded
• Dimensions:  330mm high, 205mm diameter
• Output:  nominal 8 litres, working capacity up to approximately 4 litres
• Enameled steel vessel with stainless steel flange and internal rubber membrane
• For small to medium-sized pressure systems
• May be mounted at any angle
• Stainless steel and rubber wetted parts
• Optional bracket kit for mounting on any flat surface
• Maximum Recommended Working Pressure - 4 bar (60psi)
